People. Conversations. Opportunities.

Relationships drive growth.

Cahoots is a CRM for small local businesses — the roofer, the plumber, the landscaper. Every contact, deal and conversation in one place, and your AI agents working the same records by the same rules as your team.

  • Built in Nampa, Idaho
  • Free during early access
  • No credit card

What's built today

Everything in one place. Nothing you have to convert, sync, or chase.

Three things a CRM has to get right before anything else. These exist, they work, and you can drag them around on a phone.

Pipeline

See every deal at a glance.

A board for each pipeline, a column for each stage, a card for each deal. Drag a card to move it, and the move is recorded — who, when, from where to where.

  • Drag between stages, or use the keyboard — the whole board works without a mouse.
  • Won and lost are stages, so closing a deal is one move, not a form.
  • Two people editing the same deal never silently overwrite each other.

Contacts & companies

One record per person. Forever.

There is no separate “lead” to convert into a contact later, losing history along the way. A person is a contact from the first hello, and lead is just where they are in the relationship.

  • People belong to companies many-to-many, so a job change doesn’t break the past.
  • Create the company while you’re creating the contact. One form, not three.

Timeline

Every change. Who made it. When.

Each contact, company and deal carries its own history, written in the same transaction as the change itself. It can’t drift, and it can’t be edited after the fact.

  • The actor on every entry — a person, an agent, or the system — is never ambiguous.
  • Every entry also feeds an outbox, so notifications and integrations can never disagree with what you see.

Why “cahoots”

Your agents work the same records, by the same rules, as your people.

Most CRMs bolt AI on the side — a chat box that can’t really change anything. Cahoots was built the other way round. An agent is a user with its own name, its own permissions, and a record of everything it did. You decide, per action, what it may do on its own and what needs your OK.

  • Named actors

Every change says who did it — a person, an agent, or the system. There is no shared account for the robots.

  • Approval policies

Per tenant, per action type: auto, needs approval, or never. Autonomy grows by changing a setting, not by shipping code.

  • Trust levels

An inbound email or form post is data, never instructions. Agents can read it; it can’t steer them.

Built for the businesses that run a town.

The first Cahoots customers are the local companies Splibit already builds and hosts websites for. Small teams, real customers, no time for a CRM that needs a consultant.

From the builder

I’ve run websites for sixty-odd small businesses in and around the Treasure Valley for a long time. Every one of them tracks customers somewhere — a spreadsheet, a notes app, a CRM they pay for and quietly hate.

Cahoots is the one I wanted to hand them: simple enough to use on a phone between jobs, honest about what it does, and built from the start for a world where an assistant can do the follow-up — with your name on the rules, not a vendor’s.
